Favorite thing about the practice of Dentistry: Educating patients on the effects oral health has not only to gum health, but the effect it has to the rest of the body.

Favorite thing about the practice of dentistry: I want to give back to the community and work in a field I have known all my life. I enjoy being an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and have been president of the Dallas Dental Hygiene Society (2007-2009).

Additional Information:I love music and art and have a masters' degree in Art History from George Washington University. I worked before we had children at the Wichita Falls Museum and Art Center as Curator of Education and at the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts (now the Dallas Museum of Art) as the Assistant Curator of Education.
